Along the backbone of the A4, but also on the plains and obviously in the city: charging stations for electric cars are also flourishing in the Brescia area.
Thanks to the OnData association, which reworked the data from the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, we have created the map of electric car stations in our province: you can find it using the QR code that we publish alongside.
From a strictly geographical point of view, it is immediately apparent that there is a greater contraction of charging points both in the city and in the surrounding towns: Brescia alone has just under 400 access points (250 only from A2A), followed by Castenedolo and Gussago with 26 each, and by Chiari, Nave, Montichiari, Rovato and Roncadelle who exceed 20.
However, the presence of charging stations is also good in the rest of the province. In fact, the data says that the approximately 1,200 delivery pointsorganized in just under 400 charging stations, are present in 112 municipalities, therefore in more than half of the towns in Brescia.
In short, the fleet of electric cars in the province does not risk remaining with a flat battery, if we consider that counting on 1,200 charging stations in the area means having one for every five hybrid and full electric cars.
Also to delivery power Brescia is not in a bad situation: almost 900 charging points fall into the “fast” or “accelerated” range, the rest are divided between “slow” and “ultrafast”.
