a step forward in security – Nordest24

Veneto River, 16 April 2024 – La Civil Protection of Fiume Veneto has recently received a loan of 5,400 euros, covering 90% of the planned expenses for programs education and training. This contribution is part of the broader context of the distribution of regional funding, announced in recent weeks.

Alessandro Arnoldi, Councilor for Civil Protection of the Municipality, welcomed these resources, which see the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region committed to supporting the operational and training capabilities of the territory. “Regional funding is vital to strengthen our civil protection activities,” commented Arnoldi, underlining the importance of investing in human capital and resources.

Priority to training programs

The Councilor also specified that the funds will be used to develop practical exercises and training sessions, essential to improve the skills of volunteers and increase citizens’ awareness of safety protocols. “Our goal is to ensure that every individual is adequately prepared to face emergencies, with maximum effectiveness and safety,” she added.

Thanks and future commitment

Arnoldi expressed gratitude towards the Region and Regional Councilor Riccardi for the continuous support for civil protection, ensuring the commitment of the Municipality of Fiume Veneto in promoting a culture of safety and prevention.

The synergy between local and regional authorities is therefore crucial to prepare the community to respond promptly and effectively to the challenges of tomorrow, strengthening the fabric of protection and intervention in crisis situations.
