The events that led to the arrest date back to last summer when in the historic center a magistrate it was before attacked and subsequently robbed of the clock. Following the investigations, the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit discovered that the victim, shortly before being robbed, had had lunch in a restaurant in the center and, right here, had been noticed by two young suspicious-looking customers.

From the analysis of video clips of the video surveillance cameras present in the area, the military discovered that the criminal who had attacked the magistrate had driven away in a Citroën C3: the car turned out to be registered to a 49-year-old Moroccan resident of the Milan area, unrelated to the facts, but with a police record for fictitious registration of vehicles. From viewing the videos and analyzing telephone records, the military traced the identity of the three people present on board the Citroën: driving a 21-year-old with no criminal record and the two passengers, a 24-year-old and a 19-year-old, both already known to the police for previous criminal offenses against property. Analyzing the twenty-four-year-old’s social profile, the police found a video in which the young man boasted of having three luxury watches.

But it didn’t end there, because the 19-year-old Romanian was also responsible for another episode dating back to Last September 28ththis time a Cauldron. Even on that occasion, it was the victim who notified the police who said she had been approached by a young man (later identified as the nineteen-year-old) in via Lavino with the excuse of asking for information. In a few seconds, however, the boy attempted to steal the motorist’s watch but was unable to do so due to the intervention of some passers-by who chased him away. Two of them, the 19-year-old and the 24-year-old, were arrested and are now in DozzaWhile their 21-year-old accomplice still remains at large. It is possible – and the police investigations are focusing on this point – that the gang is also responsible for other similar episodes that occurred between the city and the province.
