Dia-Salernitana dispute: Coulibaly and Costil testify in favor of Boulaye

These days, a year ago, he was carried into triumph after the goal scored against Maradona, which ruined Napoli’s championship celebration and at the same time allowed Salernitana to achieve their goal of salvation. Today, however, Dia is the protagonist of a very different story: in Rome, in the hall of Palazzo H of the Foro Italico, the first hearing of the Arbitration Board was held, called to decide on the “dispute” between the Granata club and the attacker Senegalese. Since the attempt at conciliation between the parties has not been successful, the ball is now in the court of judgement. Salernitana, represented by lawyers Chiacchio, Fimmanò and Sica, is asking for millions in damages and a 50 percent reduction in the salary received by the player until June. Represented by the lawyer Carlo Gallavotti, Dia, in turn, asks for damages from Salernitana and is ready to assert his reasons, in particular with respect to the affair of the failure to enter the field in Udine, also thanks to some witnesses in his favor, like Coulibaly and Costil. The Granata club, in turn, summoned witnesses, among them the director De Sanctis, mister Liverani and the secretary Dibrogni. The Arbitration Panel’s decision should arrive by May.
