Rapallo, bus on fire: driver saves passengers

RAPALLO – Fear in Rapallo due to a fire that occurred today in via Mameli: shortly after 2pm a mini bus caught fire. The firefighters intervened to put out the flames.

Luckily there are no people involved: the bus driver noticed the smoke coming from the engine compartment in time and, as a precaution, pulled the vehicle over in an open space in Via Mameli and let the passengers get off.

The causes of the fire have not yet been clarified, it was probably an electrical malfunction of the vehicle.
