It took place at Chignolo d’Isola at the World’s Swimming swimming facility the 2nd Acsi apnea Lombardy trophy organized by the ACSI Swimming Regional Committee.
The event was won by the Sporting Club Verona L. which preceded the World’s Swimming of Chignolo d’Isola and CPS Stezzano.
Also on this occasion, many enthusiasts of this particular sporting discipline participated in the event where the athletes faced each other in the three scheduled tests maintaining a great challenging relationship in an amateur environment.
The peculiarity of this discipline is not, as normally happens, that whoever is the fastest wins, but the victory is achieved by the athlete who comes closest, in his test, to the time declared at the start. This particularity makes the sporting discipline of freediving even more difficult, as it is already not easy to practice on its own.
