Parma, an artistic contest for 50 scarecrows
Descriptive text here

You have until April 18th to participate in the Scarecrow Art Contest, a special artistic competition aimed at everyone, for the collection of ideas and projects in order to create 50 “scarecrows”.

No CV or personal data are required, but only the detailed project of the work (photo/drawing). The only technical constraint to be respected are two crossed poles on a 1:1 human scale (from 50 to 200 cm in height), on which it will be possible to intervene with any medium.

The chosen works will be the protagonists of an event that will take place from 4 to 12 May and will have as exhibition venues the Bosco Spaggiari and the Parma stream in the section between the Ponte Verdi and the Ponte di Mezzo.

The projects must be sent no later than the deadline of 18 April 2024 to [email protected] or deposited by hand in the boxes provided in Piazza della Steccata and at the Ponte Verdi in Parma.

For more information you can visit the dedicated website at the link: https://www.spaventapasseriart.it/

The Spaventapasseri Art Contest project is curated by Emanuela Araldi and Christian Mercadanti, with the patronage and collaboration of the Culture Department of the Municipality of Parma, the direction of Roberta Spaggiari and the illustrations by James Kalinda.
