ARQUÀ POLESINE (Rovigo) – From the collaboration between the evergreen theater company Collective Theater Proposal and the Monsignor Giacomo Sichirollo recreational club, the review continues so as not to forget. In fact, it’s about to start again Theatrical incursions – reminiscence, remembrance, memory, a cycle of events that will be held once a month until the end of the year, on Fridays at 9.00 pm in the Parish Theater of Arquà Polesine (RO), all under the sign of the theater and which, through the theatre, will lead to a reflection on the great themes of our time and the past between history and tradition, between women’s rights and theatrical art, between freedom and memories. The events, in collaboration with the Parish of Sant’Andrea Apostolosee the patronage ofculture department of the Municipality of Arquà Polesine.

The first event will be held Friday 5 April to learn how to defend yourself (from scams). Event title: It goes back scamwith the theater company Crumbs of Art of Canaro. It will be a very important moment, a real action of civic education, to give – through a history of theater – a chance to closely examine the serious problem that grips our time and, in particular, the elderly, that is, the scam that hides around the corner. To embellish the evening, the intervention of the Commander of the Carabinieri company of Rovigo, Captain Francesco Marino.
The actresses and actors of Briciole d’arte will stage some of the most widespread scams also in Polesine, especially to the detriment of the older population. From the “gas leak” to the “false accident”, passing through “a fake refund”, “a fake family friend” and “a scam at the post office exit”. An original script, inspired by the complaints and materials provided by the Army to the theater company itself, to make the evening more current and plausible than ever.
We will then move on to Friday 10 May for theatrical performance The story of Domenico and Pacifico at the time of Boje Of Collective Theater Proposaldirected by Giorgio Bibbiare, to remember (our History). The work is freely taken from the historical research carried out by Achille Ferrari who will also be the protagonist of the play. He will take the viewer on a journey into the past, listening to the voices of witnesses of the most important moment of revolt in Polesine against the agricultural owners who exploited the poor farmers without even bread to eat.
And again, skipping the summer period, we will then move on to Friday 20 September to give voice (to life). A best of will be proposed Theater pills, a theater competition that has been taking place for some years not only in the Polesine area, but also regionally and inter-regionally. The protagonists will be some of the actors and actresses who have performed over the years, fighting pleasantly or dramatically to the sound of monologues, a potpourri of intentions and emotions.
We then continue Friday 18 October with a particular and interesting appointment to reflect (feminine): the company will be hosted Enne Enne Theatre that he will bring to the stage Ladies football club from the text of the same name by Stefano Massini directed by Franco Zobia. On stage, Roberta Chinellato, who will retrace the stories of women, intertwined with football, between smiles, bitterness, uncertainties, but above all a lot of strength.
Friday 15 Novemberwill also be proposed …And he did it like in seciaro (14/11/1951) to commemorate (the river and the inhabitants of the river, a work dedicated to the drama that affected the Polesine, the flood, of which true stories will be told, stories of the people. The voices and words of those who lived those moments will be heard on their own skin, of those who saw the impetuous force of the River water in front of them. The protagonists, the actors of Collective Theater Proposalcoordinated by the direction of Giorgio Bibbiare.
Finally, it will end Friday 13 December to discover (cultures through music). The final moment of the event will be a great moment of celebration because the musicians of the musical group will be guests Akordyan who will propose a musical repertoire of Klezmer and Balkan identity with also Yiddish songs for seven instrumentalists, two choristers and a solo voice.
It will therefore be a path that this year too, like last year, will lead to raising awareness, reflecting, rediscovering the past and present, always reminding us that we are all brothers, human beings who share the identity of being on the same planet. All this, always through the great art of theatre.
