An earthquake has hit the Campi Flegrei in Naples. The shock occurred around 5.40 am today, April 27th and the earthquake was also felt in the Naples area. The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology reported that the magnitude was 3.9. The tremor occurred at 5.44am and at a depth of 3 kilometres. The other night an earthquake of magnitude 2.4 was felt at 3.47 by residents in the Campi Flegrei area, in the neighborhoods of Agnano and Bagnoli, in Naples and in the neighboring municipalities, between Pozzuoli and Bacoli as part of a seismic swarm characterized by around fifty tremors but all of low intensity, never exceeding 1.4 magnitude.
