While filming the third season of And Just Like That… are underway in New York, it turns out that the cast of the revival of Sex and the City has been renewed with the addition of three new faces and two promotions (perhaps also to fill the gaps left by Sara Ramirez e Karen Pittman who left the series). Meanwhile Sebastiano Pigazzi e Dolly Wells they will return as regulars respectively in the role of Giuseppe, Anthony’s new love interest (Mario Cantone) in season two, and Joy, a potential new love interest for Miranda (Cynthia Nixon). They also joined the cast Mehcad Brooks (Law & Order), Jonathan Cake (The Affair) e Logan Marshall-Green (Big Sky). We don’t know what roles they will play, but TVLine assures that Mehcad Brooks’ participation will not interfere with his commitments in Law & Order.

In the Season 2 finale Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) had bought a new and larger apartment to move in with Aidan (John Corbett), but the latter had been forced to return to Virginia to be close to his teenage children who needed him. The two lovers promised to meet again after five years, but will they make it? Deadline reveals that John Corbett was also spotted on the set of the third seasonso we imagine Carrie and Aidan won’t be apart for long.

The third season, expected in the United States on Max and in Italy on Sky and streaming on NOW in 2025will continue to follow friends Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they, along with new friends and family, “grapple with the complicated realities of friendship, family and New York City in your 50s,” according to the official synopsis. Last May, it was announced that actress Rosie O’Donnell, interpreter of a new character named Mary (no other details have been shared for now). As far as we know, in addition to the protagonists, the already known ones will also return in the new episodes Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang e Alexa Swinton.
