Things, however, turned out completely differently. In fact, from the first episode, numerous critical issues emerged.

The Island of the Famous disappointed the public’s expectations. The initial enthusiasm was replaced by general discontent. The reality show, despite its efforts, has not been able to create attractive and multifaceted dynamics. Pier Silvio Berlusconi admitted that he was not satisfied with the work done. Most people pointed the finger at Vladimir Luxuria, but the presenter believes that the fault is not hers or even the network’s.
During an interview for Nuovo, he explained his point of view. She believes the chosen contestants didn’t do enough to maintain interest. There was no significant romantic history. The protagonists limited themselves to surviving in Honduras, without forming any bonds: “The ‘affair’, a fundamental ingredient in reality shows, was missing“.
In fact, couple relationships have always had a central role within these programs.
The presenter wanted to specify that, within the cast, several single people had been chosen. This, however, was not enough: “In this edition… nothing… The singles were there, but they were dozing“. However, Vladimir Luxuria is happy with what she managed to create. She never gave up and made it to the end of the project.
The same cannot be said of many castaways who, after a period of stay, they decided to withdraw: “Unfortunately there were many withdrawals, especially at the beginning. I think of Marina Suma, the poet Pietro Fanelli, the fishmonger Peppe Di Napoli, and unfortunately certain dynamics have not developed“.
The next edition of L’Isola dei Famosi will almost certainly be entrusted to another presenter. At the moment, his fate is still uncertain. We will have to wait for the next developments to know how things will proceed.
