The exhibition ‘With feet in the mud. A story on the margins of the news’ by photojournalist Cristiano Frasca will be inaugurated at 3:30 pm in the church of San Bonifacio at the Cusercoli Castle on the occasion of the anniversary of the flood. In collaboration with the Pro loco Clausum Herculis, the shots taken in those days will be exhibited in a journey that will also help those who did not directly experience the tragedy to identify with those moments. “The exhibition aims to retrace the days following May 16, telling – comments Frasca – through the photographs that were not published in the newspapers, the emergency, the people, the law enforcement officers, the volunteers in a chronological but also geographical journey of what happened and that was documented through my point of view. On display are 60 photographs selected from the huge amount of material produced to document what was happening in those terrible days, the shots published in the newspapers are the result of a very strict selection and all the rest of the images remain in the archive”. At the heart of this story are the people Frasca met and whose emotions and feelings he collected through his sensitivity. The exhibition will remain open until July 21: Saturday 3-7 pm and Sunday 9-12 and 2-7 pm. Inauguration buffet offered by the Pro Loco. Free admission.
