The area of the former waste collection area on Via Menotti, which Amga spa, owner of the area and company responsible for managing the collection in Legnano, had put back on the market not through an auction, but with a request for expressions of interest made to evaluate potential buyers, remains at a standstill: by the deadline of June 26, in fact, no operator had shown that they had set their sights on this area of approximately 8,700 square meters, which was being offered on the market with a reference price that was just over half a million. In 2020, the lot had ended up at auction, without success, together with the neighboring land delimited by Viale Sabotino, owned by Legnano Patrimonio, a securitization company of the Municipality of Legnano in liquidation. In 2022, there was then talk again of the two areas considered as a single one for a project hypothesis that had aroused the interest of a private operator and which involved the construction of two commercial buildings and three residential buildings on four floors above ground. From that moment on, however, silence until the decision to separate the lots and resubmit the expression of interest for the former waste collection area only. Between April and June of this year, Amga spa had also put two other areas on the market: another former waste collection area, between via Oberdan and Michele del Carso, proposed with a starting price of just over 220 thousand euros, and a lot in via Quasimodo of over 14 thousand square meters for around one million euros. Both of these lots, somewhat surprisingly, found a buyer. PG
