FOLIGNO The progressive coalition is starting again with a big dinner to gather its supporters and voters. The event is scheduled for July 10. Mauro Masciotti himself announced it on social media, speaking again in a short video published on the page where his electoral campaign was told. Further details will be provided later, in the meantime the intention was to give a signal of vitality in this new phase of ‘crossing’ that the center-left will have to go through. For Masciotti, the first choice is which group to join in the City Council. Barring any surprises, the mayoral candidate should join the ‘Foligno domani’ group, the civic list created under his impetus, which elected Tommaso Feliziani. If this were the case, Masciotti would follow the same path as Pizzoni, the center-left candidate in 2019, who joined the ‘Patto x Foligno’ list group, the one he helped create. It is then to be understood who, between Masciotti and Feliziani, will be the group leader. The same issue, that is, the attribution of the group leader, exists in the Democratic Party. The logic and practice of the last legislature would like it to be Rita Barbetti, former deputy mayor and city councilor, to fill the role that was held by Elia Sigismondi, chosen in 2019 as a champion of preferences. The first convocation of the city council should arrive soon, according to the terms of the Tuel.
