The return to Romagna yesterday evening, after two days in Milan, for Fabio artigianato, a trip that served to deepen contacts on the objectives of a market that will officially open on Monday 1 July, but which has in fact already begun. Several names are already present in the Juventus sporting director’s notebook, although there is no talk yet of negotiations on the verge of being closed. Michele Maita is the reinforcement identified for the midfield, but he still has a two-year contract with Bari and the Apulian sporting director Giuseppe Magalini would like to keep him by putting him at the center of the project and even entrusting him with the captain’s armband. An interview between Maita and his current management is expected in the next few hours, only after the meeting will it be understood whether the player will leave Bari or not.

In defense we need at least two or three category players and one of these could be Michael Venturi from Rimini, born in 1999, who has been a pillar of Cosenza’s defensive department for four seasons. Last year, Gianluca Frabotta, a left winger also born in 1999, was in the Calabrian club, on loan from Juventus, and also another evaluated profile. Also from the Cosenza squad of last season are two other players taken into consideration: they are the central midfielder Federico Zuccon, who returned to Atalanta at the end of his loan, and the expert offensive winger Manuel Marras, a flexible player and therefore adaptable both as a striker and as the fifth midfielder in a 3-5-2. For the moment, only rumors linking Cesena to Croatian central defender Stipe Vulikic, born in 2001, who returned to Perugia after his loan with Hrvatski, but Mantova also likes Catania’s right-back, born in 2001, Devid Eugene Bouah and the defender of Como, former SudTirol, Marco Curto.

Today, however, Michele Mignani will pronounce his first words as Cesena coach in the presentation press conference scheduled for 12pm at the Orogel Stadium Manuzzi. Today, or at the latest tomorrow, there could also be the official announcement of Corrado Di Taranto’s arrival as general manager. The last issue to be resolved remains the termination of the contract that binds him to Spal, immediately after which he will sign the contract with Cesena, an act reduced to a pure formality after the agreements and the handshake of the last few days. Di Taranto, who has already made contact with the Juventus environment this week, will fill that position which remained vacant last season, but which is fundamental for a club that wants to equip itself with an organizational structure worthy of the highest categories.
