Brentonico, parade of firefighters students

The provincial camp reserved for firefighter students returns to Vallagarina in San Giacomo di Brentonico after a 14-year absence, now in its 21st edition. An edition that stands out for its intense program. The protagonists of the event are 815 girls and boys between the ages of 10 and 18, representing 132 Trentino corps but also 5 groups from Lombardy and Valle d’Aosta, followed by 371 instructors and chaperones. In addition to the firefighter activities that include real performances, the parade of young students through the streets of the town of Brentonico is much loved by adults and children alike. Massimo Ticò, deputy inspector of the Vallagarina district, who organizes the camp: “I started in 2000 with the first camp in Carisolo and now I see here many of my commanders who were my students”. Among the activities that are required of the new generations of firefighters, those related to the aspect of giving and giving oneself stand out, thanks also to the involvement with Avis. At the base there is the desire to give the students the opportunity to build healthy and authentic relationships, hence also the decision to prohibit the use of cell phones.
