The tenth edition of the Dolomitica Brenta Bike it was a great celebration with over 700 athletes registered for a prestigious national event. They were the winners Davide Foccoli (Olympia Factory Team), after a very long duel with Jury Ragnoli (Fm Bike Factory Team), while completing the podium was Philip Bertone (Bottecchia Factory Team). In the women’s field, dominance of Vittoria Pietrovito (Bike And Fun Team) that preceded it Maria Cristina Nisi (Boscaro Racing Team) e Martin Zola (Bikefan). The race was valid as 4a stage of the “Green Group” Rampitek and 2a of Trentino MTB as well as awarding the jerseys of the provincial champions of the Trentino mountain bike marathon.

Lined up on the grid we see Juri Ragnoli (Fm Bike Factory Team), winner in 2023, alongside him the men of the Olympia Factory Team, Davide Foccoli and Andrea Righettini, those of the Bottecchia Factory Team, Filippo Bertone and Stefano Valdrighi, Pietro Dutto of the Mentecorpo Cicli Drigani Pro Team, the Dmt Racing Team By Marconi, Mattia Toccafondi, Aleksei Medvedev and Peter Menghetti, Ciclissimo Bike Team with Francesco Acco, Bike And Fun Team with Vittoria Pietrovito and Marco Pini, Team Cingolani with Christian Pallaoro, Maria Cristina Nisi of the Boscaro Racing Team and with them many others.

The Marathon starts at 9:00 sharp, for a tough race of 67 km with 2,400 metres of altitude difference, in the spectacular Adamello Brenta Natural Park.

The climb towards Madonna di Campiglio is already enough to make the first big selection. At the transition from the start of the cable car to the Graffer, Juri Ragnoli and Davide Foccoli are in the lead.

Pietro Dutto follows a handful of seconds later.

Further behind was a small group of four bikers, Luca Accordi (Zerozero Team), Mattia Toccafondi, Marco Galeotti (Zerozero Team) and Andrea Righettini from Trentino.

A few seconds later, Filippo Bertone moved into eighth place, followed by Aleksei Medvedev, Kevin Fantinato (Team Life), Stefano Valdrighi, Francesco Acco and Marco Pini.

The long climb that leads to Monte Spinale makes further selection. At the passage from the intermediate station, Foccoli and Ragnoli are always in command.

Bertone passes by a full minute behind.

Further behind is the Accordi duo with Righettini and just over two minutes behind is Dutto.

After passing the summit of Monte Spinale we find the pair composed of Ragnoli and Foccoli in command.

Bertone is always in pursuit.

Righettini finished fourth, after trailing Accordi by a handful of seconds.

Then Dutto passes, not on his best day, followed by Valdrighi and Fantinato.

The pair in the lead continued for many more kilometers in close contact and when a sprint finish was imagined, on one of the last climbs, Foccoli managed to distance Ragnoli, who had to surrender to his young opponent.

At the finish line, in the Pineta area of ​​Pinzolo, Davide Foccoli arrives alone, completing his race with a time of 3 hours 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

Ragnoli arrives one minute and thirty-three seconds behind and Bertone completes the podium, almost five minutes behind the winner.

Excellent fourth Andrea Righettini, with a race in constant recovery after being detached in the initial stages. Pietro Dutto closes in fifth position.
