L’AQUILA. From today, the green light to sign contracts and no more constraints to respect to announce new arrivals and departures. This will also be the case for L’Aquila which, like the others, has moved early to avoid being surprised by its direct competitors. Cappellacci, after the important confirmations of Michielin, Alessandretti, Brunetti, Del Pinto, Banegas and, soon, Di Santo and Mantini, is heading straight for the Under 2006 with an eye also on the offensive department. In this regard, while waiting for Belloni’s signatures, the figure of Martiniello (ex Samb) does not seem to arouse much interest with the Abruzzo red and blues intent on covering different positions and departments: the Tortora coach wants a left winger (possibly with the opposite foot) to insert in the trident together with the Argentine duo Belloni-Banegas, capable of scoring, in the season just gone by, a whopping 31 goals (13 and 18). In recent days there has been talk of a strong interest in Da Silva (Gravina) and Giampaolo (Ancona) with the latter profile certainly more suited to the characteristics that Roberto Cappellacci is asking for. Unlike the structured Brazilian central striker (198 cm and 17 goals scored), in fact, the former Ancona player is certainly the player who would best marry the wishes of a coach eager to reintroduce the trident in the offensive zone. Daniel Giampaolo, already winner of this championship in 2021 with the Recanatese jersey, knows the role of left winger well and would allow Cappellacci to find that third right-footed attacker who is good at entering the field to communicate with the first striker and, at the same time, capable of creating or freeing up space for overlaps.
The rossoblù will take more time (but not too much) to choose the Unders, also considering the evolution of Gianfranco Giuliodori who has performed well since his arrival in the capital of Abruzzo but who, to date, does not yet know his destiny. This will therefore be a decisive week to direct the summer market in L’Aquila with the desire to tighten the contacts already started and to sign those who, for some time, have promised themselves to a team intent on being a protagonist again.
