Internazionali d’Italia Series, Lucia Bramati wins the Under 23 ranking

Despite the result obtained in the last stage a Chies d’Alpago, Lucia Bramati had the opportunity to celebrate the success in the Internazionali d’Italia Series.

The 21 year old of Canonica d’Adda he achieved the final victory in the Under 23 classification, confirming himself as one of the best talents in Italian mountain biking.

The Trinx Factory Team rider achieved a sixth place in the Alpago Trophy won by the Slovenian Tanja Zakeli in a race dominated by Nicole Pesse (Trinx Factory Team).

Bramati entered a group of six athletes in the first lap, however on the following lap she suffered an attack from her teammate, positioning herself in pursuit with Zakeli and Giorgia Marchet (KTM-Protek-Elettrosystem).

For two laps nothing changed before towards the end the Slovenian champion began to recover, separating her chasing companions.

On the penultimate lap Zakeli caught up and overtook Pesse, crossing the finish line with a forty second advantage over the latter and 1’10” on Lucrezia Braida (Team Sogno Veneto) being the first two Under 23s.

Bramati paid dearly for the winner’s pace by finishing in sixth place, but thanks to the results of the previous stages she conquered the final classification.
