The young talents of Cus Catania still on the top of Italy thanks to their rhythmic gymnastics and their talent Graziana Amenta. There Cusina gymnast won the national title in the hoop specialty in the “Ginnastica in Festa” event currently taking place in Rimini. Born in 2012, Graziana won the LC2 Individual Championship in the Student 4 category. The gymnast also competed in the free practice with the ball, finishing in 5th place.

The Cus athlete has been training in the university facilities for 5 years and managed to get the better of a large group of opponents from all over Italy. A great passion that made a young talent blossom.

It was an immense and unexpected emotion. I didn’t imagine that among the 100 athletes competing, I would be able to do so well! I still can not believe it”. The twelve-year-old’s words were few but direct Graziana Amenta who knew how to fight the emotion until, during the awards ceremony, she heard her name pronounced and climbed onto the top step of the podium.



Constant commitment and dedication, a job that is built in the gym, day after day with patience and tenacity. “The satisfaction is infinite also because in the history of Cus Catania, rhythmic gymnastics had never achieved results similar to this. A goal that rewards commitment. We couldn’t hope for more than that – says the technician Rossella Longoas well as head of the gymnastics section.
