Also Andrea Delogupresenter and face of Rai, is a fan of Temptation Island. He demonstrated this with a tweet in which he wrote that he had recovered the first episode of the reality show hosted by Philip Bisciglia, which aired on Thursday 27 June, marking a record debut in terms of ratings. Delogu has chosen to focus on the attitude held by the engaged couples of this edition and on the naivety demonstrated by the latter, convinced of the real interest of singles towards them. In particular, Delogu was referring to Tony Renda and Lino Giulianothe absolute protagonists of the first episode of the reality show (the paths of the other couples will be told later).

“I’m catching up on Temptation Island. But how is it possible that after 10 years the guys still believe that the suitors are seriously interested? I mean, the first season is fine, it could have been there but then… what’s the problem? Self-perception? Ego? Alcohol?”, asked the presenter, convinced that there are no conditions for engaged couples to really believe the interest shown by singles towards them. Singles – otherwise known as “tempters” – whose role involves interacting with boyfriends who have decided to get involved to help them test the solidity of their relationship.

When Delogu followers insinuated that couples follow a script, the Rai presenter defended the program by declaring that she knew the authors and how it works. “I know one of the writers. No scripts for couples. Of any kind. He thinks what great actors they would be…”, wrote Delogu. An impartial comment considering the fact that the presenter is one of the faces of Rai, a direct competitor of Mediaset.
