Logbook Day 8 ‘Juppiter arrives in Finland’
Stop in Kvarken, Contemplation and Introspection among the Natural Wonders of Finland
VITERBO – The journey towards the North Cape is an invitation to contemplate nature, to personal introspection, a dance between the real and the imaginary, an experience that awakens the senses and nourishes the spirit. This was the gift received by the boys of the North Cape Destination Caravan on the first Finnish stage along the Kvarken archipelago, recognized as a UNESCO heritage site.
A day of regeneration breathing the cleanest air in the world, which gave the kids the opportunity to think together about the relationship between man and nature, between fragility and taking care of it. The fragility of nature, with its delicate ecosystems that resist time; the fragility of man, those of adolescents, of our special children. An extraordinary educational tool and at the same time the greatest commitment to building a future for all.

Finnish public access rights, better known as all people’s rights, mean that nature is accessible to everyone, that, with responsibility and respect, one is free to camp, hike, pick berries and mushrooms, fish and do other activities on any terrain, regardless of ownership.
the Caravan stopped in front of this immense natural beauty, to admire it, but also to experience it by walking, doing sports, sharing the space that nature gives us. A way to also enjoy the moment of lunch with great joy based on bread and cold cuts brought from Italy by our friend Claudio Ciampi.
The caravan will remain in Finland for one more day. Tomorrow June 27th he will arrive in the village of Rovaniemi, the city of Santa Claus.
