The dramatic accident occurred on the Tiburtina Valeria in the province of Rome in the territory of Roviano. Two people died.

A very serious one mortal accident It happened today, Saturday 29th June, around 2pm on Tiburtina Valeria Street. In the territory of Roviano in the province of Rome there are two motorbikes collide. Both motorcyclists lost their lives in the violent impact. Anas personnel, the police and the 118 medical assistance were on site. Unfortunately, the medical staff could do nothing but confirm the death of the two people involved upon impact: any resuscitation maneuver was useless.
The road was closed to traffic to make possible the rescue operations and subsequent investigations useful for establishing the dynamics of the dramatic accident. Traffic has now returned to normal, Anas staff reopened the road around 4pm after restoring safety conditions and removing the damaged vehicles.
This is how the count of deaths on the roads of Rome and its province is updated: since the beginning of 2024 there have been 79 road victims, 18 were counted in the month of June alone.
