Under a starry sky, in the beautiful location of the Mirastelle Arena of the Central Theater in Piazza Roma in Carbonia, the “Cinema sotto le stelle 2024” exhibition began, included in the “Estiamoinsieme 2024” program of events. A wide range of films that will delight fans of the big screen with 7 important screenings, from 25 June to 6 August (2-9-22-23-29 July). Last night there was excellent public participation which saw the screening of “A difficult year” preceded by the presentation of the entire event by Andrea Contu, operator of the Cultural Services Center of the Humanitarian Society, and by the greetings of the councilor for Sport and of the show of the municipality of Carbonia Giorgia Meli who also declared her satisfaction with the beautiful program of the event, organized by Csc Carbonia-Iglesias Società Umanitaria and ARCI Il Calderone APS, in collaboration with ARCI la Gabbianella Fortunata and with the patronage of the municipality of Carbonia .
“A difficult year” is a film by Oliver Nakache and Eric Toledano, an overwhelming and current comedy that moves between consumerism and environmentalism. The comic duo, formed by Jonathan Cohen and Pio Marmaì in the role of Bruno and Alberto, two friendly freeloaders always broke and in debt beyond belief, comes across a group of activists among whom the beautiful and engaging Noèmie Merlant stands out, in the film Cactus. From that meeting, a series of incredible events, often sources of laughter. A film in which the “art of making do” of the two friends, who attempt redemption, stands out.
A first appointment followed by the second, Tuesday 2 July “Dream scenario – Have you ever dreamed of this man”? by Kristroffer Borgli a film between dream and reality, a true story with Nicole Cage, Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows and Dylan Gelula.
