Max Pezzali at San Siro, how to get to the stadium for the concert

Second stop in Milan for Max Pezzali. After the success of the first evening at San Siro with 54 thousand spectators, the king of 90s pop returns to the Meazza this evening, Monday 1 July. And like every summer concert in Milan, between racecourses and stadiums, also on this occasion the traffic rules of the Milanese Municipality remain in force. To encourage the use of public transport, the M1 and M5 metro lines are strengthened and open until late. But how to get to San Siro? Here is the guide.

From the center of Milan

From the center of Milan you can reach the stadium with the M1 or M5 to Lotto or San Siro. Get off at the Lotto or San Siro Stadio stations to reach the stadium and return at the end of the concert. Then follow the pedestrian routes on this map:

Alternatively, get off at the M1 Lampugnano station and take the shuttle to the stadium. The shuttle leaves from Via Natta (near the metro exit) and arrives at Via Achille on the corner of Via Tesio (a few steps from the stadium). Or, take tram 16, which has an increased service between the city center and the terminus in the stadium square.

From the parking lots of Molino Dorino, Lampugnano or Mi Stadio and back

  • From the Molino Dorino car park. Use the M1 and get off at Lotto. The car park remains open until 2am. From Lotto, the last M1 trains back to the car park leave at 00:06, 00:24, 00:43
  • From the Lampugnano and Mi Stadio car parks. The stadium entrances can be easily reached via these pedestrian paths. The Lampugnano car park remains open until 2am

From train stations and airports

All train stations and Linate airport are connected to the subway network. Malpensa and Orio al Serio airports are connected to Milan with the Malpensa Express and several bus companies.

To return to Milan: M1 and M5 close later

  • M1: remains in service even after the normal closing time, but only from Lotto station towards the centre of Milan (not the other way around). The last train from Lotto leaves at around 1am. In the opposite direction, the last trains from Lotto to Rho Fieramilano leave Lotto at 00:06 and 00:24

  • M5: the last train leaves from the San Siro Stadio terminus towards Bignami at around 1am
  • The M2, M3, M4 lines and the M1 sections between Rho and Lotto, between Sesto and Bisceglie and the section from Sesto to Rho will close at their usual time.
  • After the closure of the metro, the trains are replaced by night buses NM1, NM2, NM3 and NM4. Find timetables and stops on the ATM app and the network map on this page).

Segesta and Ippodromo stations close after 11pm

At the end of the concert, the M5 stations of Ippodromo and Segesta will close by order of the public safety authorities. Leaving the stadium, use the M5 stations of San Siro Stadio and Lotto, or walk to the M1 station of Lotto in 15 minutes.

Accessible stations

  • The stations near the stadium (Lotto and San Siro Stadio) are served by elevators.
  • Before travelling, check the real-time operation of the vertical systems of all the stations from this page.
