“There are many of us without words. We will miss you infinitely.” These are the words with which the regional councilor Pierfrancesco Majorino remembers Roberta Guaineri, councilor for Sport of the Municipality of Milan in the first council of the mayor Giuseppe Sala, who passed away yesterday at the age of 57 after a long illness.
Many on the web wanted to leave a memory of the lawyer: “I can’t believe it, it’s not right. – writes Emanuele Fiano of the Democratic Party – What terrible news. I remember the first time we met at the Circolo di Porta Genova. Thank you the earth is light and welcomes you too soon”.
The deputy mayor Anna Scavuzzo directly addresses the friend who passed away too soon: “Hello Roberta. Your smile, elegance, professionalism, dynamism, curiosity. Then the energy, the stubbornness, the rhythm, the desire to arrive and win. And much more. I want to think about all this now.
At Giambellino, immortalized in the lightness of a moment and then again a thousand times in the following years.
Beautiful and talented, strong and fragile. Too fragile. What a pain. A hug to your family, in silence, in prayer.”
Councilor Pierfancesco Maran was also astonished: “I can’t believe that Roberta is gone, so young, one of the nicest people I’ve met in the Municipality in recent years.”
Already yesterday evening the mayor Giuseppe Sala had fondly remembered his councilor on social media: “”I have lost a beloved friend – wrote the mayor – She was a councilor in my first council, but our relationship was very more than a professional relationship. A few months ago we had been together in Siena for a cycling race and only ten days ago she had come to Palazzo Marino to me and she had told me about her health problems.”
“But not so soon, Roberta! We have to move on, but I know that you will leave a void that I don’t even dare to describe – he concluded -. I will look at this photo for a long time, which crystallizes a moment of our great happiness”.
