The musician and singer Anna Castiglia won the title of absolute winner of the XXXV edition of Musiculturareceiving the prestigious Banca Macerata Prize of 20,000 euros thanks to his song “Ghali“. The artist, accompanied on keyboards by Simone Matteuzzialready winner of Musicultura in 2023, won the favor of the public at the Sferisterio in Macerata during the two evenings of the festival.
After the award ceremony, the girl dedicated her victory to her music history teacher at the Conservatory, Ernesto Assanteand announced the intention to donate part of the prize to pro-Palestine associations: “Celebrating is beautiful, but we must not forget what is happening in the world” he declared on stage.
Awards and Recognitions

Enzo Avitabile closed the evening with an overwhelming performance, receiving the Honor for High Artistic Merit from the Rector of the University of Macerata, John McCourt, and from the delegate of the Rector of the University of Camerino, Daniele Tomassoni. Avitabile dedicated his song “Don Salvatò” to Mina and continued with pieces such as “Maronna Nera” and “Salvamm’ o munno”, involving the audience in a collective dance.
