In the large municipality of the lower part, it is the centre-right that proposes itself again after five years of Government and starts again with a 6 point advantage, while in Nonantola it is the centre-left that seeks confirmation starting from the +20% of the first round

MODENA – In Mirandola we start again from a relatively low gap, six and a half points in favor of Letizia Budri and the centre-right over Carlo Bassoli and the centre-left, also supported by the first round excluded Giorgio Siena. In Nonantola the gap in the first round was enormous, twenty points in favor of Tiziana Baccolini and the PD over Monica Contursi pushed by the entire centre-right; here there are no similarities with the two candidates left out, freedom of conscience and vote with a turnout that appeared – from the early morning – higher than in the first round. Tomorrow at 3.00 pm the counting of ballots will begin and before dinner, barring any surprises, Mirandola and Nonantola will have their new mayors.
