The Coppa Paolino Teodori hill climb has once again crowned the Florentine Simone Faggioli, at his fourteenth success in the Piceno area, after an exciting battle on the edge of tenths between the main protagonists. A weekend with perfect weather framed the race from Colle San Marco to San Giacomo, favoring the influx of a particularly large public, who followed the evolutions of the 205 drivers who fought for the Italian Super Hill Climb Championship, the Italian Hill Climb Championship and the international FIA Cup. It was a real celebration of the engine with many authorities attending to witness an event that has grown exponentially in recent seasons and is confirmed as a permanent fixture in the international calendar.

The competitive commitment of the drivers, focused on achieving the best possible performance, put the organizational efficiency to the test, which came out on top as always. The morning of the key day was spent with race 1 of the Super Salita and FIA Cup, which saw Faggioli make the first move in 2’13”68 ahead of Luigi Fazzino from Syracuse by 1” and Achille Lombardi from Potenza at 1”22. In race 2 in the afternoon the first times were repeated with Faggioli in 2’13”84, Fazzino at 1”04 and Lombardi at 1”13. They were therefore the absolute protagonists with Lombardi best among the 2000s and Andrea Santo Di Caro from Nisseno best among the 1600 prototypes and ninth overall, so there is a new generation that is threatening the domination of the ace Faggioli. The successes in the various groups were achieved by Alberto Scarafone from Frosinone (Osella Pa21P) in the CN, Manuel Dondi from Bologna (Fiat X1/9) in the E2SH, Marco Iacoangeli from Rome (Bmw Z4) in GT, Salvatore Tortora from Salerno (Peugeot 308) in TCR where he overtook Luca Tosini (Audi RS3), Giuseppe Aragona from Cosenza (Volkswagen Golf) in E1, Michele Secci from Cagliari (Citroen C2) in the Rally, Rudi Bicciato from Bolzano (Mitsubishi Lancer) in group A, Anna Maria Fumo from Taranto (Peugeot 308RC) in RS Cup after a great duel with Alessandro Giovanelli (Mini Cooper JCW), then Giacomo Liuzzi from Fasano (Mini Cooper S) in RS Plus and Antonio Scappa from Rieti (Seat Leon St) in RS.

The best classified foreign pilot was the Czech Alea Mlejnek (Norma M20). The CIVM race saw the success of Rudi Bicciato over Andrea Lombardi (Bmw M3) and Alessandro della Rocca (Peugeot 106 S16). Among the Historic Cars, victory for Giacinto Giacché on the Fiat 131 Abarth.
