It ended Pride of Rome and, as now happens every year, the majority politicians end up in the participants’ sights. The parades have become a political occasion, as demonstrated by the presence of Elly Schlein on one of the wagons together with Alessandro Zan, which will go to the European Parliament. And precisely in view of a demonstration which has now become an electoral manifesto for the Democratic Party, it is not surprising that there were satirical, but also offensive, chants and posters against the exponents of the parties that make up the majority.
“I learn that during the demonstration of homosexuals in Rome, Giorgia Meloni and myself were heavily insulted due to its commitment to the issue of the use and abuse of drugs to block children’s puberty“, said the Forza Italia group leader in the Senate, Maurizio Gasparri. “I consider one gold medal being insulted by people who consider it legitimate to manipulate ten and eleven year old children with drugs without respecting the rules established by AIFA and the Bioethical Committee“, continued the blue exponent.
The senator’s positions are well known, precisely in response to the insults allegedly directed at him, Gasparri explained: “There are those who want to make the children slaves to drugs and those who defend the freedom of families, of children, of life without any sexual discrimination, but without any pharmacological manipulation“. Then, the senator concludes with a provocation towards those who protest to leave the freedom of hormonal and pharmacological administration to children with gender dysphoria: “There are those who are students of Dr. Mengele like them and those who defend life in all its forms, like me and Giorgia Meloni“.
The Prime Minister, moreover, was the protagonist of numerous posters and posters that were displayed during Pride. “Better gay than with her”, we read in one of many.
