Serious road accident on Via Cristoforo Colombo, section closed

A road accident, which occurred this afternoon, Saturday 15 June, involved two cars and three people, two of whom ended up in hospital with a red code. A minor was taken to the emergency room.

The accident occurred mid-afternoon on via Cristoforo Colombo, near via Oropa, in the Montagnola area. They were one to pay the price Ford Puma, in which a family was travelling, and a Yaris driven by a man of around 70 years of age.

The driver of the Ford Puma he was taken to Sant’Eugenio hospital and had a code red while the son, an 8 year old boy had a green code to the San Camillo hospital, where he was taken by his mother.

Red code also for the driver of the Yaris, ended up in an ambulance at San Camillo.

The central carriageway of Colombo was closed from 5.30pmcoming from the center towards Eur, and the traffic was diverted onto the side road. He intervened on site Group VIII Tintoretto of the local police of Rome Capital for surveys and traffic. The circumstances of the accident are under investigation.

Also on Via Cristoforo Colombo last night a very serious accident occurred, involving several vehicles. A centaur died on impact (for details read here).
