A final farewell to Thomas. Guastalla clings to his family

A simple greeting, with a blessing given by Monsignor Francesco Marmiroli, prayers and then a silent moment of farewell. It was the farewell to the young Thomas Mori, who died at the age of 26 from clinical complications. Yesterday morning many people gathered around Thomas’ family members in the mortuary of the hospital in Guastalla, the town where the Mori family lives. Father Stefano and mother Roberta Mantovani, together with their daughter Cassandra, were at the center of the embrace of many friends and acquaintances. Among them were also representatives of the Anffas cooperative, of the Sartoretti Center, with the mayor Paolo Dallasta conveying condolences to mother Roberta, municipal councilor of Guastalla Bene Comune. “Thank you all”, was the message that father Stefano wanted to address to the many present at the funeral, with his voice broken by strong emotion. Thomas was born with a severe disability. But these difficulties had never extinguished his sweet smile. And there was never a lack of assistance and affection towards him from his parents and friends. Yesterday afternoon, the Mori family also wanted to send a message of thanks to social media for the affection and closeness received in recent days.
