The cartoonist Vaga is a guest of the URCA Association for a meeting at the Bisceglie Castle

A new unmissable moment of in-depth analysis of contemporary Italian comics in Bisceglie for the last event scheduled before the highly anticipated appointment with the BiComix festival, the fifth edition of which will be held from 23 to 25 August in the tourist port of the Apulian city.

In collaboration with Gli Audaci, Cea-ZonaEffe and the Fumetti in Biblioteca initiative, the URCA association will host the next June 17th from 8pmin the evocative setting of the Bisceglie Castle, the extraordinary winner of the last edition of the Lucca Project Contest, the competition organized by Lucca Comics & Games in partnership with Edizioni BD, with a story with an underground flavor that tells the dangers of a toxic relationship through experiences and feelings of a young girl who undergoes it.

Valentina Galluccioin art Vague, will tell the public about her comic DOG (BD Editions), in which the protagonist Mia tries to escape from the grip of a relationship that imprisons her and suffocates her like a thick bituminous liquid. A relationship that is embodied in the form of a sinister being with canine features, which envelops the life of the protagonist and becomes everything for her: trap, lover, executioner, shell.

At the end of the conversation, the author will dedicate copies of her comic, which can be purchased on site. The event takes advantage of the patronage of the Municipality of Bisceglie.
