French President Emmanuel Macor has announced that he will express his opinion this evening on the results of the European elections. The Elysée made it known. This is unexpected news, given that no intervention from the head of state was expected regarding the outcome of the European elections. “A wind of hope has risen over France and it is only at the beginning”, said Jordan Bardella, candidate of the Rassemblement national (RN), who, according to initial projections, would have obtained over 30% of the votes. “The French have given their verdict and it is final”, he added, underlining the “desire for change” in the country.
