The program has been announced “Commemoration of victims of the explosion at the former Pantanella airport” to be held Wednesday 12 June to Loconiafraction of Canosa of Puglia. The ceremony which will begin at 10.30 am was organized and promoted byAir Force Association of Canosa di Puglia, under the aegis of the Municipality of Canosa and with the participation of representatives of the 464th and 465th Bomb Groups. After the flag raising and the laying of a wreath of flowers for the fallen, a themed conference on theformer Pantanella Airport which will take place in the churchyard of the Church of Sant’Antonio. On this occasion, the following will speak: the president of the Arma Aeronautica Association of Canosa di Puglia, LGT(ca) Francesco Di Pinto; the professor Giuliano De Felice of the “A.Moro” University of Bari; the doctor Maria Nunzia Labarbuta, archaeologist at the “A. Moro” University of Bari; doctor Francesco Morra, expert in history and geopolitics; the president of the Società Patria Canosa di Puglia, Pasquale Ieva. The organizers provide a free shuttle bus to reach Loconia, departing from Canosa di Puglia in Piazza Terme at 9.30 am and returning at 12.30 pm. Citizens are invited
