“The neglect of the flooded Romagna bears a double signature, that of Stefano Bonaccini, who after not having taken care of the territory is ready to escape to Europe, and that of Elly Schlein. The secretary of the Democratic Party seems to forget that his fake environmentalism, when he was vice-president of Emilia-Romagna with responsibility for the Climate Pact, is the main cause of the effects of the flood. But he doesn’t pay for this, once again he makes political profiteering on the skin of the flood victims. After criticizing the Government for having allocated 6 billion euros in less than a year for reconstruction, today it returns to accuse the Executive which, for the first time, provides for the possibility of compensating movable assets, something which has never happened before in any magnet. And to do so he even claims that the Government would blackmail the people of Romagna, an accusation as unfounded as it is shameful. The left, which in recent days had branded these reimbursements as negligible, is now asking that they not be given a lump sum of 6,000 euros but 30,000. The Government, as Deputy Minister Galeazzo Bignami said, is ready to listen to the committees that ask to re-discuss the position: but it must be clear that the responsibility for the failure to approve reimbursements for movable property damaged by the flood lies entirely with the Democratic Party, which continues to foment political conflict at the expense of flood victims.”
