Atalanta makes a wall with Juventus for Koopmeiners: the price is high

Juventus wants Koopmeiners. And Koopmeiners would like a transfer to Juventus. However, the situation is not as simple as one might make it out to be, because the Dutchman – after last year’s 47 million offer and the Europa League victory – is valued at at least 60 million euros. Atalanta has no intention of going down from this figure and does not want, at least at present, to accept compensation, even if welcome. There is also another variable, which could be decisive: the interest of the Premier League hovers and has not yet been revealed, but the feeling is that at least one big player will make an offer that is almost indispensable.

Koopmeiners would certainly have no problems negotiating an agreement with Juventus. Also because he currently earns 2.5 million plus bonuses in Bergamo – reaching 3 – fully sustainable for the Bianconeri who are ready to put a four-year contract worth 4.5 million on the table. For a matter of balance, the Nerazzurri could also move up, but not to these figures. Even in the Premier League, obviously, there would be no problem in supporting the Dutchman’s possible salary increase. And then there is the European Championship, a showcase that can make a further difference. Atalanta, therefore, is in no hurry and will give in on their own terms.

In this sense, there is strong interest in Dean Huijsen. He is considered as a potential craque and a player to spend on (and then make a capital gain, possibly), because the costs are currently low, at least on the salary front. It is valued at over 30 million but it is a deal unrelated to that of Koopmeiners. So no exchanges, no quid pro quo.
