Point of reference for the sporting life of Cava de’ Tirreni and the city’s historic meeting point, the Social Tennis Club over the last year it has undergone an intense restyling project that has changed its face but certainly not its purpose and objectives. First and foremost, that of strengthening the presence of tennis in the fabric of a city with a great tradition.
So, the tournament “La Tramontina” dedicated exclusively to female participants, it was a great success for the very high quality of the protagonists. The final success, for the second year in a row, went to the Benevento Sara Milanese, born in 2005, historic standard-bearer of the Circolo Tennis San Giorgio del Sannio and 2.2 in the national rankings, with a best WTA ranking which is currently number 1100. Sara, explosive power and explosive physique, got the better of Francesca De Matteo (2.6 of the TC 2002 Benevento)another rising player, with a score of 6/4 6/3. Now all my energies are dedicated to playoffs in B1 scheduled for next Sunday with my club, the San Giorgio del Sannio Tennis Club. Only then will I resume international activity with the sole objective of improving myself.”
