Over 8 months to wait for them to be made operational, less than 8 hours to see funds ran out. Incentives for the purchase of new electric cars are indeed finished on June 3, 2024the opening day of the portal managed by Invitalia which allowed dealers to upload orders to access the expected funds. The expected 240 million euros evaporated, with many requests remaining unanswered precisely because there are no longer any funds. However, they still remain available for the ranges between 21-60 g of Co2, typically plug-in hybrid cars and those between 61-135, which include full and mild hybrids.
Distribution of incentives
The largest portion of the discount is undoubtedly reserved for new electric cars: at the same time as the scrapping of a polluting vehicle and an ISEE of less than 30 thousand euros, one could save up to 13,750 on the list price.
