Initially unveiled in October 2022, and launched in select territories last year at the I/O 2023 event, the Pixel Tablets officially arrives today also in Italy. The announcement just came directly from Googlecoinciding with that of the new Pixel 8a smartphone.
Google brings the Pixel Tablet to Italy
The operating system is obviously Androidbut compared to the many alternatives in the category, it is a model designed to become an integral part of the smart home, as evidenced by the possibility of associating it with a charging base with speaker which makes it, in all respects, a smart display.
At the level of technical specifications, it integrates one 10.95 inch screen with resolution 2560×1600 pixels and the Tensor G2 processor designed internally (and already seen in action on the Pixel 7a smartphone), supported by 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory. There is also the Titan M2 security chip. The equipment is completed by two 8 megapixel cameras (rear and front) and a battery with fast charging for a declared autonomy of up to 12 hours of streaming.
On the software sector front, Google has worked to offer an experience that meets expectations in every area, including those related to streaming multimedia entertainment, gaming and productivity. Obviously, there is no shortage of features dedicated toartificial intelligence such as Magic Eraser, Best Shot and Framing Guide.
Price and availability
There are several options available for those who want to buy Pixel Tablet in Italy, with prices starting from 499 euros for the 128 GB version, while the 256 GB version is on sale for 619 euros. Then there are the bundles with the charging base equipped with a speaker that transforms it into a smart display, at 599 euros for the 128 GB model and 719 euros for the 256 GB one.
The phase of pre-order starts today, through the official store and on Amazon, while the sale is scheduled for May 14th, also in other stores. The available colors are Clay Gray and Green Grey.
