Accident along the Teem in Gessate, helicopter and firefighters on site

An accident occurred this afternoon Tuesday 7 May 2024 along the Teem A 58 at the height of Pinstripes.

Three injured

The accident occurred shortly before 4pm on the southbound carriageway in the covered tunnel section. The 118 rescuers rushed to the scene with two ambulances, a medical vehicle and an air ambulance. The traffic police also intervened to manage the traffic and investigate the accident. The firefighters also helped the operations.

From the first information arriving it would have been a collision between two cars, with three people involved. All were taken to hospital under yellow code. The one in more serious condition was loaded onto the helicopter.
