There are rumors about a possible entry of Keanu Reeves in Marvel Cinematic Universe. The beloved protagonist of the John Wick saga would in fact have started to talk seriously about the hypothesis with the President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feigeand above all he revealed to the press what the characters of his dreams would be.
One in particular has been his favorite character since he was a child: Ghost Rider. «The 10-year-old me would certainly have wanted to play him» the actor said. Technically, however, the role has already been filled by the star of Agents of Shield, Gabriel Luna, who also recently ruled out returning to this role, after the cancellation of a hypothetical series focused entirely on his figure. Could Keanu Reeves really be able to make his childhood fantasies come true?
However, there is another character from the Marvel universe in the actor’s imagination: «I always wanted to be Wolverine, but I think it’s too late now. The role was filled excellently. I’ve come to terms with it!”. Hugh Jackman has now been inextricably linked to the character of Wolverine since 2000, and we will soon see him again in his role alongside his friend Ryan Reynolds in the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine. It therefore seems extremely unlikely that a different actor could snatch the role from him, not to mention that Wolverine should technically be played by a younger man, between 20 and 30 years old. On the contrary, the hypothesis that Keanu Reeeves could offer a more painful and “mature” interpretation of Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider, would seem much more likely in the immediate future.
