Summary of the characteristics of the position:

Greenpeace is looking for a collaborator with previous experience in fundraising who will be responsible for independently managing a group of dialogue men and women face to face in Lazio. The Leader must demonstrate that he/she can take care of the selection, training and coaching of dialogue men and women thanks to specific communication and management skills gained through suitable educational paths and significant and proven experience in areas such as direct dialogue and/or sales. It is essential to have gained previous experience within the fundraising program as a fundraiser or dialogue speaker.

Main activities of the Leader:

TEAM WORK
• Will take care of a group of dialogue men and women in Lazio. She will organize the group, the programming and travel, suggesting and looking for appropriate logistical solutions, taking advantage of his knowledge of the area and that of the people to whom he will refer.
• Will abide by and respect the policy general rules of Greenpeace, fundraising and Direct Dialogue of Greenpeace, and the Document of Good Practices for face to face fundraising signed by Non-Profit Organisations.
• It will comply with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 regarding the protection of personal data.

WELCOME ON BOARD
• Will compete in the phases of recruitment And selection and in suitable training of new dialogue men and women.
• It will promote the ideals of Greenpeace and the characteristics of the Direct Dialogue program to encourage the candidacy and selection of suitable profiles for the association.

COACHING
• Will support the new dialoguers, using suitable techniques and tools.
• It will also provide the necessary training regarding Greenpeace campaigns, approach techniques and effective dialogue techniques.
• It will support the performance of dialogue men and women to lead them towards growth and improvement of performance.

GOALS AND REPORTING
• Will have to motivate and lead the group to achievement of objectives assigned, providing the necessary coaching and support.
• Will supply to Greenpeace analysis and monitoring of KPIs typical of the activity through specific tools for monitoring the progress of the objectives of the individual dialoguers and dialogue workers and of the group.
• Will plan objectives, timescales and ways of working.
• Will plan and share the group’s presence in Lazio with other associations.

Required knowledge, skills and competences:

TECHNIQUES
• Face to face communication techniques oriented towards the sale/acquisition of new supporters.
• Previous experience in recruitment and selection, in the sales/direct dialogue sector.
• Previous experience in training, in the sales/direct dialogue sector.
• Previous use and perfect knowledge of Excel.
• Perfect written and oral knowledge of the Italian language.
• Knowledge of the marketing and fundraising sector (non-profit).

ORGANIZATIONAL and REPORTING
• Tools for organizing group work.
• Previous experience in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
• Previous experience in processing and analyzing sales/direct dialogue reports.
• Tools to facilitate and optimize group meetings.
• Knowledge of the territory and ability to use it for the team’s purposes.

COACHING and LEADERSHIP
• Knowledge of training and coaching tools.
• Previous experience in managing work teams.
• Ability to create a common vision.
• Ability to motivate and orient the group and individual components towards the set objectives.

• Listening skills and positive approach.
• Commitment to the environment and peace and identification with the organisation’s values.
• Respect for diversity.
• Availability to travel nationally.
• Flexibility and motivation.

Salary
Fixed compensation + bonuses commensurate with the results achieved personally and by the team.
