Sexual abuse of the two minor daughters of the two cohabitants occurred when the girls were 8-9 years old.
They were carried out by a firefighter from Albisola Superiore, suspended from duty for two years, who was sentenced last Monday in the first instance to eleven years and 8 months by the Panel of the Court of Savona presided over by judge Fiorenza Giorgi.
Following a long, detailed and delicate hearing and previous detailed investigations, the Prosecutor’s Office through the Public Prosecutor Maddalena Sala was able to ascertain that the two young people, now adults, had been abused by the man about ten years ago.
The girls are daughters of two partners with whom the man had had relationships in two separate periods. One of the two young people had started a psychological journey some time ago and having turned to a specialist as a minor she had automatically made the report.
From there the investigations began which then led to putting together the man’s past and discovering other abuses suffered by another girl (who then formalized the complaint) who then said she had suffered similar abuse.
The young women, defended by the lawyers Farina and Vallarino, were then heard during the evidentiary stage.
The man would always deny the facts that were contested against him both during the investigation and before the College (during the hearing the mothers, psychologists and teachers were heard). The public prosecutor had asked for a 10-year prison sentence for him.
The first hearing for a separate topic which also concerns men will take place in June.
