A few days away from the highly anticipated weekend of Miami Grand Prix Lando Norris he suffered a small accident, which does not compromise his participation in the sixth race of Formula 1 World Championship. But he certainly didn’t live a good fifteen minutes in Amsterdam, where he was immortalized with his face bandaged.
After the splendid second place in Shanghai (yet another podium of his career), Norris decided to relax a bit and flew to Amsterdam, to the land of his friend Verstappen and above all his mother, who is Dutch. And there he was photographed with his face bloodied and bandaged. To tell the truth, the dynamics of the accident that brought him to those conditions are not known. The Daily Mail writes that the pilot of the McLaren he would have injured his nose with broken glass.
But it is only known that Norris took part in the ‘King’s Day‘, a national holiday that the Dutch have celebrated since 1885 and which takes place on the birth day of the current king, in this case Willem Alexander. It seems that Norris took part in a party with the well-known deejay Martin Garrix on a cheerful and perhaps too crowded boat. His participation in the Miami GP is not in doubt.

Over the weekend (3 – 5 May) the Miami Grand Prix will be held in Florida, e.g there will also be the Sprint Race. It will be an intense weekend that Norris will face with a smile (as always) and with many hopes, certainly not of victory, but of a podium. He will fight with the usual suspects, that is, with the Ferraris of Sainz and Leclerc and perhaps also with Sergio Perez, who won the last pole position of his career in Miami a year ago.
Norris has just come from pole in the Sprint, and from a sensational error of judgement, and from second place in the Chinese GP and occupying fifth position in the Drivers’ Championship, he is halfway there: far from the top four, but with a large margin over Piastri, Alonso and the two from Mercedes.
