A quiet morning in the sun turns into an adventure for this man and also into an unexpected rescue. Imagine becoming the hero of the day almost by accident. This is demonstrated by a video that practically went around the web, unleashing users, who in turn couldn’t believe their eyes. Here’s what it’s about.
You glimpse something from your swimming pool, what is it?
The protagonist of this story is a man who is observing and doing morning cleaning in his outdoor swimming pool. It is known that many people love to build swimming pools at home that remain uncovered all summer. Others arrange them in such a way that they can be used in the middle of winter, as if they were spas.
Those housewives they need to be cleaned often and with particular precautions. Even though they often have a drainage system, they obviously cannot guarantee the same cleanliness and hygiene as the swimming pools of large spa and sports centres. For this reason you need to arm yourself with a net, disinfectants and a lot of patience.
This man was doing just that when he glimpsed something from his swimming pool. Something very small and above all strangely still. He approaches the edge to get a better look and realizes that what he is observing is an animal. And probably either drowned or unconscious.
He promptly decides to grab his net to run to his rescue, pulls it up and surprise… it’s a squirrel!
An improvised resuscitation
A very small specimen of this species, which must have fallen into the water from the trees near this man’s swimming pool. Upon closer inspection he realizes that the animal is alive, although unconscious and unable to breathe.
So he decides to provide him with the first rescue operations. As? As one would do for a human being, therefore improvising a resuscitation. She wraps him in a cloth, warms him and gives him a sort of massage to help him expel the swallowed water. Moments of real panic, and relentless efforts.
Incredibly, the little one regains consciousness, but still seems stunned by the experience. So all that remains is to get a cage and take it to the nearest vet. The video ends with the protagonist and the squirrel leaving the studio. The puppy seems to have recovered vitalityevidently the experience must not have tried too hard for him, nor put his health at great risk.
For his savior, however, the story cannot end like this. It’s clear to him that the squirrel must have gotten lost, so he decides to take him to his habitat. The end of the video therefore shows him intent on releasing it in the nearest forest. Hoping he doesn’t get into similar trouble again!
