General Manager, how do you train happiness?
«We all get up in the morning with the desire to succeed in what we do. But we also like to return home with a reward, a recognition of our commitment. However, I would also like to mention the excellent work of Fabio Parazzoli, his assistant and athletic trainer, who allowed the players to reach the final in top form. Another “special one” is the physiotherapist Carlo Gallici who followed all the athletes after training without ever looking at the clock.
We saw the same enthusiasm in the osteopath Matteo Toneatto, in the surgeon Fabio Tenore and in the doctor Giovanni Piccolo as well as in the team manager Andrea Altamura who accompanied the athletes step by step throughout the season.”

When did you realize it would be the right year?
«On 23 December, after the return match of the first phase, when we won 3-1 at home against Busto Arsizio. I remember thinking that if we were able to play like this we could go anywhere.”
Was your young age a decisive factor?
“I am sure. We arrived at the end of the championship with a lot of fuel in our bodies, physically, but above all mentally, also due to age. The team worked hard but I never heard a complaint or complaint. A team of young professionals.”

«Our thoughts go to vice-president Rosè Biason, who passed away in November, who was unable to see what we managed to do. For years he has dedicated a lot of his time and enthusiasm to the team.”

«We want to give continuity to the project by confirming the technical staff and, in the next few days, we will evaluate the details together. As far as the team is concerned, we have already moved on the market and have several avenues open. The idea is to remain mainly on Italian territory and then look for some foreigners as done for the A2″.
Regarding the gaming system, is there any news?
«We are making various assessments and, in principle, we should remain in the Lower Friuli area. The public responded very well and we are sure it will also do so in A1.”
