Landslide in Colonno, in the Como area, on state road 340, on the morning of Sunday 28 April. Firefighters were called to a tall plant that had fallen onto the road, involving a vehicle. Fortunately, the driver of the car was unharmed.

The event caused damage to a power line. To allow safety and assessment operations it was necessary to interrupt the road system.
Detachments of the Fire Brigade from Menaggio and Centro Valle Intelvi were sent to the site, supported by a ladder truck from Como and a crane from the Sondrio command. Electricity company technicians, emergency health service personnel, Carabinieri and ANAS operators were present.
The fire brigade teams worked to remove the plant from the road and make the area safe.
