Mattia Faraoni remains the king of the ring. The Roman heavyweight kickboxing champion defended the Iska world title at the PalaTiziano in the 27th edition of the Oktagon Tsunami. A dream evening for the home idol who entered and drove the audience crazy by entering the ring wearing Francesco Totti’s Roma shirt.
The entrance
Pharaohs against Hurduc was the main event of the evening of June 29th at the PalaTiziano. For such an important match, the Roman chose a super star entrance. Acclaimed by the public all on his side, Faraoni entered the ring wearing the shirt of his idol: Francesco Totti. AS Roma shirt and a very Manolas look. So Faraoni introduced himself to the Palazzetto before putting on a show during the match.
It matches
The match immediately starts uphill for the Roman. The reigning champion falls after an unauthorized throw from his opponent (penalized) and his right knee twists, and he requests the intervention of the medical staff. Back in the ring Faraoni pushes Romanian Hurduc resists and in the second round the Romanian puts the Italian down with a powerful hook.
