Perhaps few people know it, but Google also created Gmail. The free email service was launched by Big G way back in 2004: since the news came out on April 1st, many thought it was a joke. After 5 years from the launch, however, the definitive version finally arrived and was then distributed to every corner of the planet: nowadays, each user has 15 GB of space. Google, however, has combined Google Photos, Gmail and Drive into a single package: using up 15 GB is certainly not something impossible (here we have revealed a method to free up memory). The company, in any case, makes economical packages available to users to have more space: if you run out of space, however, you will not be able to send or receive emails. Leaving all this aside, today we want to reveal a very useful trick to recover deleted emails.
Gmail, how to recover permanently deleted emails: interesting trick
Throughout our days, there may be times when we decide to delete emails or when we do so by mistake. For 30 days, we still have the possibility to recover them with simple steps: just go to the trash can and click on the folder with the arrow at the top left. From the menu, simply choose the folder into which to move the selected messages. At this point, click on the name of the folder where you just moved the emails from the menu on the left. Restored emails retain their arrival date: for this reason, especially if they are very old, you will not notice them immediately. After 30 days, however, remember that the emails will be lost forever and we can only request the sender to resend them.
If you have an account managed by an institution or company, the administrator can recover the emails even after they have been completely removed. However, only the administrator can do this recovery within 25 days. After logging in to the Google administration console, in the console you need to go to the menu, then press the “Directory” and “Users” items. Go to “More options” and finally click “Data recovery”. You then need to select the date range for the data to be restored, obviously choosing the Gmail data types. Ultimately, click on Restore and you’re done.
